Retail Loss Prevention Training Courses Now Available On Line
Retail Training Services is pleased to announce that through a special arrangement with the Loss Prevention Academy it is now offering LP Academy’s series of professionally designed courses aimed at helping retailers improve their profits through reducing their inventory, cash and safety losses.
Each Retail Loss Prevention Course was developed by a professional instructional designer in partnership with industry experts. The courses are designed to help retail companies and their employees to reduce retail theft and shoplifting while improving workplace safety. Each course is voiced over, interactive and offers a certificate of completion when the final exam is passed.
One of the most popular courses is Loss Prevention for Employees. Designed for the education of hourly retail workers, this 2-hour course covers the basic concepts of shortage control and safety and is perfect for new employees or as a refresher for seasoned team members. It covers key concepts including how to recognize and deal with shoplifting; the importance of accurate paperwork; reducing retail theft; how to handle robberies and workplace safety.
Loss Prevention for Managers is a 10-hour course that is designed for the Loss Prevention, Store and Asst. Manager position within a store. This training goes beyond the basics and is designed for the manager position that is responsible for shortage and safety. This can also be an excellent course for District Loss Prevention Managers, Investigators, Store Owners and any support positions for the LP Department.
